La Revista Comunicación,  perteneciente a la Escuela de Ciencias del Lenguaje, y cuya entidad editora es el Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica, publica semestralmente (en junio y diciembre). Tiene como objetivo difundir los resultados de investigaciones en las áreas de las humanidades y de la educación. Está dirigida a un público académico, interesado en sus temáticas.

Da cobertura a una amplia variedad temática: literatura, teoría literaria, artes, filosofía, historia, pedagogía, lengua, lingüística, filología, historia.

Recibe colaboraciones nacionales e internacionales, en las siguientes lenguas: español e inglés.

Esta es una revista de acceso abierto, lo cual implica que todo el contenido es de libre acceso y sin costo alguno para el usuario o usuaria, o institución. Las personas usuarias pueden leer, descargar, copiar, distribuir, imprimir y buscar los artículos en esta revista sin pedir permiso previo del editor o el autor con fines educativos y no de lucro.

La única limitación de la reproducción y la distribución, y el único papel de los derechos de autor en este ámbito, debe ser dar a los autores el control sobre la integridad de su trabajo y el derecho a ser debidamente reconocidos y citados (Budapest Open Access Iniciative).

Tecnología en Marcha is a quarterly publication (it brings out four ordinary numbers yearly), free and open access, prepared by Editorial Tecnológica de Costa Rica to diffuse the results of research, professional and teaching practices, in scientific and technological topics from the area of engineering. Its content is addressed to investigators, specialists, docents and students.

The Revista Forestal Mesoamericana Kurú (RFMK) is a publication of the School of Forest Engineering at the Costa Rica Institute of Technology and is part of the Electronic Journal Portal of the Editorial Tecnológica de Costa Rica. The journal aims to serve as a platform for the dissemination, exchange, and transfer of online information in the field of natural resources, with an emphasis on the forestry sector. It is published biannually and is intended for professionals, researchers, students, and the general public interested in forest sciences and natural resources.

TEC Empresarial is an open access quarterly journal owned and published by the School of Business, Costa Rica Institute of Technology (TEC), that publishes scientific research on management and business economics. TEC Empresarial is a double-blinded peer-review journal that includes within its scope areas of management related to entrepreneurship, strategic management, and innovation as well as different aspects of business related to finance, accounting, economics, marketing and operations. We welcome scientific studies at different levels of analysis: individuals, groups of individuals, organizations, and territories. The journal is committed to publishing studies that make use of a diverse range of research methods and we welcome original research using statistical techniques, qualitative data, experiments (field or lab), non-parametric methods, and mathematical models.

TEC Empresarial publishes original studies based on quantitative or qualitative data, as well as shorter papers that address a specific issue or question. Editorial comments, conceptual work, and invited contributions on practices and developments in the fields of management and business economics appear from time to time as warranted by new developments. Review articles (i.e., bibliometric studies, systematic reviews, meta-analysis) are not considered for publication in TEC Empresarial.

By disseminating scientific studies to a broad audience of academics, researchers, policy makers, and business practitioners, TEC Empresarial seeks to provide a communication forum that contributes to a better understanding of management and business economics. Manuscripts accepted for publication at TEC Empresarial must be original, must meet the high standards of rigor set by the journal, and must offer a relevant contribution to the communities of management and business economics scholars, practitioners, and policy makers.

TRAMA, REVISTA DE CIENCIAS SOCIALES Y HUMANIDADES is an academic, electronic, international journal produced by the School of Social Sciences of the Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica, based in Cartago, Costa Rica. This journal is published biannually: the first issue covers January-June and is published on February 15; the second issue covers July-December and is published on August 15.

Trama is aimed at researchers, extension workers, teachers, students and the general public.

This is a free and open access journal. Thus, interested persons can submit their proposals for articles without any economic cost, both for the processing, revision and reception of the document, as well as for its eventual publication.

The journal's thematic coverage includes the social sciences, humanities, philosophy, law and related disciplines. From an inter and trans-disciplinary approach, the thematic coverage can also include articles that explore or produce knowledge from the link of these disciplines and fields of knowledge with engineering and natural sciences.

The objectives of the journal are:

1. To build a space for theoretical, methodological, epistemological and practical discussion of social sciences, humanities, philosophy, law and related disciplines with engineering and natural sciences.
2. To communicate knowledge produced from teaching-learning processes, research, extension and social action, according to a dialogue of knowledge, in view of the challenges presented by the contemporary world.

IDI+ is an electronic publication of a scientific nature from the School of Industrial Design of the Costa Rica Institute of Technology. It is a biannual and publishes two issues a year, the first issue is published in June and covers July-December, while the second is published in December and covers January-June. It is free and open access, whose purpose is to disseminate unpublished research works in the field of industrial design and related areas. It is aimed at researchers, professors, students, professionals and national or foreign experts in the area of design and other related fields.

La revista e-Agronegocios es una publicación anual (publicación continua), gratuita y de acceso abierto editada por el Tecnológico de Costa Rica (Escuela de Agronegocios) en colaboración con el Centro de Investigación en Economía Agrícola y Desarrollo Agroempresarial (CIEDA) . Su objetivo es la difusión de resultados de investigación en las disciplinas del conocimiento relativas a la economía agrícola, agronegocios, la gerencia agroempresarial y áreas afines. The digital magazine Mathematics, Education and Internet is a biannual, free and open access publication, it was founded in 2000 and it is sponsored by the Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica. The journal publishes original research articles, theoretical and applied mathematics, mathematics education (at all educational levels) and related topics. It also publishes essays and section articles whose presentation has some added value with respect to the existing literature. All articles submitted to this journal are peer reviewed under a double-blind review process. The official language for document publication is Spanish, however, publications in english and portuguese are accepted.

The Magazine Mathematics, Education and Internet aims to be a meeting point in the international work in the field of mathematics and its teaching. It constitutes a space for reflection and dissemination of mathematics and its teaching and related topics. Its target audience are primary, secondary and university teachers as well as students and researchers in mathematics and mathematics education.

The Journal of AgroInnovation in the Humid Tropics is an initiative of the Agronomy School at the Costa Rican Institute of Technology. It aims to serve as a  dissemination mean for the scientific, and technological repertoire of the agronomic innovation in the Neotropical region, through original, unpublished and peer-reviewed articles.

This journal is published semiannually, the first volume covers the months of January to June and the second from July to December, both volumes will be published at the beginning of each period.
