Actitudes del estudiantado de ingeniería ante la inteligencia artificial generativa: estudio en el Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica

Resumen

La rápida expansión de la inteligencia artificial generativa (IA-G) exige comprender las actitudes del estudiantado de ingeniería. Este estudio estimó la actitud hacia la IA-G en N=1086 estudiantes del Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica, empleando la GAAIS-20 (12 ítems positivos y 8 negativos recodificados). Las puntuaciones se ubicaron por encima del punto de neutralidad, evidenciando una valoración global favorable. En los análisis comparativos se observaron diferencias pequeñas por sexo, carrera y campus/centro, mientras que no se encontraron diferencias apreciables entre cursos de matemática (Kruskal–Wallis, p>.05). En conjunto, los resultados sugieren una actitud positiva y transversal hacia la IA-G, con matices asociados a la familiaridad tecnológica; se recomienda su integración pedagógica responsable y con lineamientos claros de uso académico.
