Observatorio Costarricense de las MIPYMES: Información y Conocimiento para la Competitividad Sostenible

Abstract
Aunque se reconoce la importacia que poseen las pequeñas, medianas y pequeñas empresas en Costa Rica, se carece de información acertada que permita tomar decisiones y evaluarlas para apoyar a estas empresas. Desde el seno de la Comisión Nacional de Rectores (CONARE) se ha venido gestando un Observatorio Costarricense de MIPYMES. En este artículo se revisa el entorno nacional de apoyo a las MIPYMES, se muestran los datos más actualizados sobre dicho sector, se define la naturaleza de un observatorio y se expone el grado de avance del proyecto.
ABSTRACT
Although the importance of micro, small amd medium-sized companies in Costa Rica is recognized, there is a lack of proper information that can help make and evaluate decision to support these companies. From the National Universities Rector Commission (CONARE in Spanish) an observatory for these companies has been taking from. In this article the national support environment to micro, small and medium-sized businesses is analyzed, most recent data is present, the nature of the observatory is defined and the degree of advance of the project is presented.
