Abstract

In this article we describe the design and implementation of a hypermedia on parametric curves that we use as a didactic resource in the Calculus I classes of engineering careers. We believe that the integration of technology into the curriculum is fundamental. In this case, the resource was designed in two ways: as non-linear reading didactic material and as a facilitator of the use of specific mathematics software.
We show various aspects that we took into account for its elaboration and some results of the learning objectives pursued in its implementation. With respect to the latter, the hypermedia was adequate for students to be able to distinguish the effect produced by the different parameters of the same locus.
