Abstract

This document presents a practical example for initializing and exploring statistical simulation. The simulation of the game Pickleball is carried out for "singles" mode. The simulation is done using the R programming language, where points and full games are simulated, and the Monte Carlo approach is applied to determine the probability of a player winning a complete game. Finally, the average number of points required to complete a full set is estimated, based on the players' skills (probabilities). The goal is to provide a practical case that facilitates the understanding and application of statistical simulation, demonstrating how sporting events can be modeled and analyzed using probabilistic methods.
