The Revista Forestal Mesoamericana Kurú (RFMK) is a publication of the School of Forest Engineering at the Costa Rica Institute of Technology and is part of the Electronic Journal Portal of the Editorial Tecnológica de Costa Rica. The journal aims to serve as a platform for the dissemination, exchange, and transfer of online information in the field of natural resources, with an emphasis on the forestry sector. It is published biannually and is intended for professionals, researchers, students, and the general public interested in forest sciences and natural resources.

New Requirement for Authors: ORCID iD Mandatory Starting Second Issue of 2025

Starting with Volume 21, Issue 51, scheduled for the second half of 2025, the Revista Forestal Mesoamericana Kurú will require all authors to have an ORCID iD for the final acceptance of their manuscripts. This policy aims to enhance researcher identification and visibility, while also promoting greater transparency in scientific publishing.
