Comparación de los procesos de reclutamiento y selección de docentes universitarios en el contexto de Alemania y Costa Rica: una perspectiva desde la ética
Main Article Content
Abstract
The proper selection of university faculty is fundamental, as it directly impacts the training and quality of student learning. Considering this relevance, the objective of our research, which is a case study, is to compare the recruitment and selection process in public universities in Costa Rica and Germany. This contrast is particularly relevant, given that both countries prioritize educational quality, invest significantly in it and share close historical ties, which provides fertile ground for analyzing ethical practices in academic recruitment. The results show some concordance in process and perceptions; however, the requirements for teaching positions diverge sharply.
