The original scripts sent by the authors will be submitted to an editorial process that will be developed in several stages:

1. The process begins with the receipt of the manuscript through e-mail revistaidi@tec.ac.cr, where the Editorial Committee in a preliminary evaluation assesses the relevance of its publication.

2. Once its thematic requirements have been verified and in accordance with the instructions for publication, the Editorial Committee conducts an anti-plagiarism review according to the procedure established in its Editorial Policies.

3. In case of successfully passing the anti-plagiarism review, it will be sent to two external academic peers anonymously (double blind), who will send recommendations about the article. For this, the Article Evaluation Guide by Academic Peers is used.

4. The Editorial Committee of Revista IDI+ will be in charge of making the final decision about the publication of the article (accept, reevaluate or reject), supported by the recommendations of the academic evaluators. The resolution of the opinion will be final in all cases.

5. In the case of approval of the paper, the author must authorize using the declaration of originality and cession of rights to Revista IDI+ to include it and be able to edit it, reproduce it, distribute it and communicate it in Costa Rica and abroad by electronic means under the Creative Commons license.f corrections are needed by decision of the Edorial Committee, the author must make the pertinent changes.

6. Once approved with the declaration of originality and cession of rights, a philological review or style correction of the text is carried out. Said recommendations are sent to the author for approval or correction if necessary.

7. Subsequently, the article is laid out using the format of the journal with the figures provided by the author.

8. Finally, the electronic publication in PDF and EPUB formats is done.
