Abstract
El caso presentado muestra los elementos más relevantes de la intervención de la OIT en la Región Mar del Plata. Esta tiene por objeto la generación de trabajo decente y la mejora competitiva del entramado productivo local. Los principales logros son, la constitución de 5 mesas de concertación; la definición e implementación de sus acciones estratégicas; el fortalecimiento de instituciones empresariales, sindicales, científicas, tecnológicas, de formación técnica y universitaria. La creación de 3 centros de servicios tecnológicos (naval, indumentaria, TIC) y de 2 asociaciones empresarias (Indumentaria y TIC), la instalación de más de 100 máquinas industriales en escuelas técnicas, la capacitación de más de 80 formadores y más de 1800 desocupados, la recalificación de más de 100 ocupados y la formación de más de 500 técnicos, profesionales y empresarios.
ABSTRACT
This case shows the most important elements in the OIT’s intervention in the Mar del Plata region. It has the goal to provide decent jobs generation and the competitive improvement of the local productive framework. Its main achievements are: the setting up of 5 discussion boards; the definition and running of strategic actions; the strengthening of entrepreneurial, labor union, scientific and technological institutions (naval, garment, TICs), and of 2 entrepreneurial associations (Garment and TICs); the installation of over a 100 industrial machines in vocational schools; the training of over 80 teachers and 1,800 jobless individuals; the requalification of more than 100 workers and training of over 500 technicians, professionals and entrepreneurs.
