We have detected that some third-party websites falsely claim to act on behalf of TEC Empresarial and its Editors.

TEC Empresarial wishes to confirm that our journal has no connection to any third-party submission site and that submissions to our journal can only be made via the journal’s website (https://revistas.tec.ac.cr/index.php/tec_empresarial/index), and not through any third party site.  TEC Empresarial does not charge for article submission or article publication.

This practice, known within the industry as “predatory publishing,” implies that third parties use established journals' names to solicit authors' content. This toxic practice is affecting many established journals, and in line with the actions taken by other publishers, TEC Empresarial is working to find a solution to this problem.
