Abstract
La tendencia mundial es la formación de bloquescomerciales crecientes mediante la expansión geográficade los mercados. Esto permite nuevas oportunidadesy, a su vez, crea nuevas amenazas debido a la “proliferación”de la competencia. En este sentido, hay doscaminos: se abandona el negocio o se optimiza la empresapara que sea más productiva.Un factor clave es no considerar al ser humanocomo un rubro del costo, sino como el recurso másimportante de la organización debido a su “know-how”(conocimiento y experiencia), que brinda un valoragregado al producto o servicio. Este valor representaun nuevo papel creado dentro de la compañía hacia sugente y su participación, por eso, en primer lugar, sedebe formar y capacitar al personal para luego pensaren ofrecer al cliente un bien o un servicio. Por lo tanto,el factor humano establece una ventaja competitiva primordialpara la supervivencia de cualquier empresa.Debido a este cambio de actitud, positivo hacia eltrabajo, es que se puede decir que “el puesto de trabajorepresenta un nuevo horizonte para incrementar laproductividad”.
ABSTRACT
A present world trend is the establishment of growingcommercial blocs through the geographical expansionof markets; this allows new opportunities but alsonew threats because of the proliferation of competitors.To that effect there are only two possible alternatives:quit the business o transform the enterprise into a moreproductive one.A key factor is not to consider the human beingas part of the cost but as the organization’s most valuableresource, due to their know-how (knowledge andexperience) that provides added value to a product orservice. This value represents a new role created withinthe company towards its employee: their participation;thus personnel must first be made ready and trainedbefore offering customers a product or service. The humanfactor establishes a paramount competitive advantageto the survival of any company.Due to this positive change in attitude towardswork, it can be said: “the workplace represents a newhorizon to increase productivity”.
