Abstract
La globalización económica y los fenómenos de cambiofomentan la necesidad de contextos organizativos que posibilitengenerar y aplicar nuevo conocimiento. Cuando el objetivode la empresa sea el aprendizaje continuo, la configuraciónorganizativa y el propósito directivo, éstas serán condicionesesenciales para disponer de activos de conocimiento superiores.Indagamos en la relación entre un fenómeno político (gestióndel conocimiento) y otro natural (aprendizaje de la organización)en un marco organizativo determinado. El objetivo esobtener evidencias relevantes sobre el efecto de las variables dediseño organizativo en el aprendizaje y el conocimiento desdela perspectiva de las grandes empresas españolas.
ABSTRACT
Economic globalization and change phenomena encouragea need for organizational policies that favor generatingand applying a new managerial knowledge. Whena company aims for continuous learning, its organizationalconfiguration and managerial guidance will become fundamentalrequirements to access better knowledge assets. Westudied the relationship between the political (knowledgemanagement) and the natural (organizational learning)phenomena in a specific organizational frame. The aim wasto obtain relevant evidence of the effect of organizationaldesign variables on learning and knowledge from the perspectiveview of large Spanish companies.
